When we were in Holland, Luuk's parents took us to the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum, or the Open Air Museum, in Arnhem.
To get around the museum, you can either walk or take the historic trams to certain stops. Each stop takes you to a different time in Dutch history and you can see old buildings, houses, and businesses that were present at that time. Must be so cool learning your history like this for kids.
It was interesting to see how ordinary people in Holland lived back in the olden times. It told a story of their past, and how it shaped the present and probably how the future will be.
